Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive dental measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all materials are stocked and organized.
- Provide chairside support to dentists, including handing instruments, operating suction devices, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments, such as taking vital signs and reviewing dental X-rays.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and comply with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Dental Nursing specialization preferred) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Indonesian Nursing License (STR) with specialization in dental health (if applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role within a dental clinic or hospital.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and precision.
- Familiarity with dental software for patient records and scheduling is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional local languages (e.g., Balinese) are advantageous.
