Responsibility
- Execute manual test cases to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with test plans.
- Document, track, and validate software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, reports, and user guides.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide QA insights and prioritize testing efforts.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve software quality.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging QA tools/technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software QA or manual testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
