Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime for facilities and equipment.
- Install, test, and commission new systems or components as required by project specifications or client needs.
- Collaborate with facility managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance schedules and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff or non-technical team members when needed.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
- Technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to liaise with international clients and colleagues.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, or outdoor settings.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a hazard-free workplace.
