Join Sunway Construction as a Site Safety Supervisor in the vibrant and fast-growing construction sector of Bali, Indonesia. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, conducting rigorous inspections, and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks. Responsibility
- Conduct daily safety inspections of construction sites to identify and address potential hazards.
- Enforce compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, Indonesian Ministry of Manpower guidelines).
- Develop, implement, and update site-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers, subcontractors, and management teams.
- Investigate and document workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incident reports for regulatory and internal purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or local equivalents) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction safety, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations, including Indonesian labor laws and international best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to train and influence teams at all levels.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, hazard analysis, and safety audits.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments and adapt to changing project demands.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
