Responsibility
- Oversee the fabrication, transportation, and installation of structural steel components to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to align steel structure deliverables with overall project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to verify structural integrity, safety, and adherence to engineering drawings.
- Develop and implement project schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies for steel-related activities.
- Prepare and review technical reports, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for steel structures.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure efficient execution of steelwork tasks.
- Resolve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to optimize steel construction processes.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in site engineering, with a focus on steel structure projects.
- Proven track record of managing steel fabrication and erection for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of steel design codes (e.g., AISC, Eurocode), welding standards, and connection details.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar engineering software.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and construction management tools.
- Ability to work in Bali, Indonesia (relocation support may be provided for qualified candidates).
