Responsibility
- Operate Side Loader and Reach Stacker equipment safely and efficiently to handle containers in port or depot environments.
- Load, unload, stack, and relocate containers according to operational schedules and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of machinery to ensure functionality and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures, including proper signaling, communication, and PPE usage.
- Collaborate with ground crews, crane operators, and logistics coordinators to optimize workflow and prevent delays.
- Maintain accurate logs of container movements, equipment usage, and any incidents or near-misses.
- Adhere to weight limits, load distribution guidelines, and container placement standards to prevent damage or accidents.
- Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices for equipment handling and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid SIO (Surat Izin Mengemudi) for heavy equipment operation (mandatory).
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating Side Loaders and/or Reach Stackers in logistics, port, or container terminal settings.
- Strong understanding of container handling procedures, load balancing, and safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and ability to work in confined or high-traffic areas.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Basic literacy in English or Indonesian to interpret work orders, safety signs, and communicate with team members.
- Team player with a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to operational efficiency.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
