Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites with a focus on user experience (UX), SEO, and conversion optimization.
- Implement and manage tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to monitor site performance and user behavior, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Optimize website speed, security, and scalability using best practices in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React) and back-end integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketers and content creators, to align web development with broader business goals.
- Develop and integrate automation workflows to streamline processes, such as lead generation, email marketing, and CRM systems.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and implement on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across devices and browsers.
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects, custom themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Hands-on experience with WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development, WooCommerce, and REST API integration.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, schema markup, and technical SEO.
- Experience with performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse) and techniques to improve site speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make/Integromat), headless CMS, or digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
