Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize transmission network architectures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead the planning and implementation of network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to align network solutions with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to support future network demands.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission network engineering, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., SDH, DWDM, OTN, MPLS) and transmission technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on network optimization.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage projects and teams effectively.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technologies.
