Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and assessments of rail track systems to identify wear, defects, or potential failures.
- Lead and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on track components, including rails, sleepers, fasteners, and ballast.
- Oversee replacement and upgrading of track infrastructure to enhance durability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, safety) to ensure alignment with maintenance schedules and operational needs.
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols, SOPs, and safety guidelines in compliance with local and international rail standards.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software (e.g., ultrasonic testing, ground-penetrating radar) to monitor track health.
- Manage inventory and procurement of track materials, tools, and spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities, generate technical reports, and recommend improvements for system optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rail track maintenance, infrastructure engineering, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in track inspection, repair, and replacement for urban or intercity rail systems.
- Familiarity with rail industry standards (e.g., AREMA, EN, or local regulations) and safety protocols.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technical software (AutoCAD, GIS, or rail-specific tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex track issues.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
