Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian tax laws (PPh, PPN, etc.).
- Conduct tax audits and reconciliations to ensure financial records align with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting with a focus on tax implications.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation and digital tax records for compliance and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21/23, PPN, etc.) and e-Filing systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zahir, Accurate, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certification such as Brevet A/B or CPA is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
