Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, compliance standards, and best practices to protect against cyber threats.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT needs and recommend cost-effective, high-performance solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members and end-users.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering, IT infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Windows/Linux server administration, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft/AWS Certified are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
