Responsibility
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard gaming platforms and backend systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and respond to incidents with rapid containment and remediation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and gaming industry standards.
- Design and maintain encryption protocols, access controls, and authentication systems.
- Educate employees on security awareness through training and phishing simulations.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new attack vectors and security technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise environments.
- Proficiency in security tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Splunk) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Experience securing gaming or high-traffic web applications against DDoS, fraud, and cheating.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 global environment.
- Fluent English communication skills for cross-border collaboration.
