Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis and remediation of security breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Monitor security systems and analyze threat intelligence to proactively detect and prevent cyber threats
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal teams and clients
- Stay current with emerging security trends, tools, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a security engineering role
- Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for security automation
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions and zero-trust architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, global environments
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or AWS/Azure Security certifications) are a plus
