job description
Join Trust Recruit in pioneering the future of wireless technology as a Senior Research Scientist in 6G Wireless Communication. This is a rare opportunity to work with a well-established multinational corporation (MNC) at the forefront of next-generation connectivity solutions. Based in the vibrant and innovative hub of Badung, Bali, you will contribute to groundbreaking research that will redefine global communication standards.
As part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, you will explore cutting-edge technologies such as terahertz communication, AI-driven network optimization, quantum wireless systems, and ultra-low latency architectures. Your work will directly influence the development of 6G networks, enabling seamless connectivity for smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and the Internet of Everything (IoE).
This role offers a competitive salary package ($8,000–$12,000/month), a collaborative work environment, and the chance to publish high-impact research while working alongside industry leaders and academic partners.
Responsibility
- Lead and conduct advanced research in 6G wireless communication, including theoretical modeling, simulation, and prototyping.
- Develop innovative algorithms for spectrum efficiency, interference management, and ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test next-gen wireless architectures, including cell-free massive MIMO and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS).
- Publish research findings in top-tier journals and conferences (e.g., IEEE, ACM) and contribute to patent filings.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in 6G, such as holographic beamforming, visible light communication (VLC), and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC).
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Work closely with industry partners and standardization bodies (e.g., 3GPP, ITU) to shape global 6G standards.
- Present technical insights to stakeholders and secure funding for high-impact research projects.
Qualifications
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on wireless communications, signal processing, or networking.
- Minimum 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in wireless research, preferably in 5G/6G, mmWave, or THz systems.
- Proven track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for simulation and prototyping, along with tools like NS-3 or OMNeT++.
- Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms (e.g., GNU Radio, USRP) and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Deep understanding of channel modeling, modulation techniques, and MIMO systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving research priorities.
