Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of next-generation power electronics systems, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS cloud solutions into power electronics products, enabling smart and scalable functionalities.
- Develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET to support R&D initiatives, including data acquisition, analysis, and automation.
- Conduct thorough research on emerging technologies in power electronics, such as wide-bandgap semiconductors, energy storage, and IoT integration.
- Optimize existing power electronics designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals, to support product development and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project milestones are met with high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in power electronics, cloud computing, and software development to drive continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics R&D, with a proven track record of designing and developing innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in VB.NET and experience with software development for embedded systems or industrial applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core) and integrating cloud solutions into hardware products.
- Strong understanding of power electronics components, such as converters, inverters, and motor drives, as well as simulation tools (e.g., PLECS, PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Familiarity with PCB design and prototyping tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
