Responsibility
- Perform detailed radiographic interpretation to identify defects, discontinuities, and anomalies in materials or components.
- Analyze and document findings using industry-standard reporting tools and software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop corrective action plans based on inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with international NDT standards (e.g., ASNT, ISO 9712) and company quality protocols.
- Calibrate and maintain radiographic equipment to optimize performance and accuracy.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in radiographic testing.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring defects and process improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging NDT technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II/III (ASNT or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radiographic interpretation, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, or oil & gas.
- Proficient in using digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems.
- Strong knowledge of material defects (e.g., cracks, porosity, inclusions) and their impact on structural integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
