Responsibility
- Lead the design of search, discovery, and personalization features, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Translate complex ML-driven content into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define and refine product requirements.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate interaction and visual design intent.
- Advocate for best practices in UX/UI design, accessibility, and inclusivity across all product surfaces.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design teamās capabilities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation in product design.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in search, discovery, or personalization.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and prototyping tools like InVision or Framer.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and data science.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
