Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Process, Repair, and Rework Engineering department to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Quality Assurance, R&D) to resolve technical issues and drive root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring defects.
- Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to validate process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices, safety protocols, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield rates, and cycle times, and report findings to senior management.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement automation or digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries, with a proven track record in process optimization.
- Strong proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB) and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and IPC standards for electronics manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including project management and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI-driven process control) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global stakeholders.
