Responsibility
- Develop and refine pricing models for health insurance products, leveraging statistical analysis and market data.
- Conduct risk assessments and financial forecasting to support underwriting and product development.
- Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and regional teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards (e.g., OJK, IFRS 17).
- Monitor and analyze profitability metrics, identifying trends and recommending adjustments to improve performance.
- Lead or contribute to actuarial research and innovation projects to enhance competitive positioning.
- Prepare and present technical reports and insights for senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior actuaries and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Fellow or Associate of a recognized actuarial society (e.g., SOA, CAS, IA|BE, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in health insurance pricing, with a focus on Southeast Asian markets preferred.
- Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, Radar, Emblem) and advanced Excel/Python/R/SQL for modeling.
- Strong understanding of health insurance products, claims analysis, and reserving methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance in Indonesia or regional markets.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
