Responsibility
- Develop detailed mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools.
- Create and maintain 3D models, shop drawings, and construction documents in compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure clash-free, coordinated designs.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing for mechanical installations.
- Review and incorporate client feedback and redline markups into final design revisions.
- Support BIM execution plans (BEP) and adhere to project-specific BIM protocols.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections to verify design accuracy and resolve installation challenges.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance on Revit best practices and BIM workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building services, with a focus on Revit MEP.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360, Solibri, or MagiCAD is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design principles and local/ international codes.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Certifications in Revit Professional or BIM Management are highly desirable.
