Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the IT support team to ensure 24/7 availability and performance of retail technology systems, including POS, inventory management, and payment processing.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance system reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and proactively resolving issues to prevent disruptions.
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and internal teams to deploy, upgrade, and maintain retail applications and hardware.
  • Oversee incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to streamline retail operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to retail staff to ensure efficient use of technology tools and systems.
  • Manage IT budgets, procurement, and asset lifecycle for retail technology infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT support or systems management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within retail or a similar industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing POS systems, retail ERP, inventory management software, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization, and database management is highly desirable.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CCNA are advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
