Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for search ranking, query understanding, and personalization.
- Improve search relevance through advanced NLP, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production at scale.
- Conduct A/B testing and data-driven experiments to refine search algorithms.
- Optimize latency and performance of search systems for high-traffic, global user bases.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art transformer models, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics (e.g., CTR, dwell time) to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in LLMs, vector search, and generative AI for search applications.
Qualifications
- Masterâs or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, NLP, or search systems.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Strong background in information retrieval, ranking algorithms, or recommendation systems.
- Experience with distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop) and big data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Solr, or custom search engines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bonus: Publications or contributions to open-source ML/search projects.
