Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage fund accounting operations, including NAV calculations, capital calls, and distributions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Monitor and analyze fund performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to support the growth of the Real Assets division.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with a focus on real assets or alternative investments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with investor reporting, capital transactions, and fund administration is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
