Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Lead vendor negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship development to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals and healthcare standards.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and ethical standards.
- Oversee the tendering process, including RFP/RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Implement sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices in line with ALPS Healthcareās values.
- Manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A Masterās degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, preferably in the healthcare or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and reducing costs without compromising quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
