Responsibility
- Donor Engagement & Stewardship: Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure funding and long-term support.
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans, including campaigns, grant applications, and sponsorship initiatives.
- Strategic Communications: Craft compelling narratives and marketing materials to enhance YWCA’s brand and engage stakeholders across digital and traditional channels.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and event-based fundraising.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align philanthropic goals with programmatic needs and organizational priorities.
- Impact Reporting: Create and present reports to donors and leadership, demonstrating the tangible outcomes of their contributions.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of trends in philanthropy and nonprofit sectors to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Event Management: Organize and oversee high-profile fundraising events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum donor engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in philanthropy, fundraising, sales, or business development, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of cultivating and managing high-net-worth donor relationships.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crafting persuasive proposals, reports, and marketing content.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis to measure campaign performance and donor engagement metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams, including marketing, programs, and finance, to achieve shared objectives.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and digital fundraising tools.
