In this 2-year contract role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to design, implement, and evaluate residency programs for Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) medical graduates. Responsibility
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PGY1 residency programs in alignment with SingHealthâs educational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with academic faculty, clinical supervisors, and administrative teams to ensure seamless program delivery and compliance with accreditation bodies.
- Coordinate logistics for resident rotations, including scheduling, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to enhance learning outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate professional development workshops, seminars, and mentorship initiatives for PGY1 residents to foster clinical and leadership skills.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, faculty, and external stakeholders to address concerns and optimize the learning experience.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal reviews, audits, and strategic planning sessions.
- Stay abreast of trends in medical education, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into program design.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Education, Public Health, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical education, residency program coordination, or healthcare administration.
- Strong understanding of medical training frameworks, accreditation standards (e.g., ACGME-I), and postgraduate education requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences, including residents, faculty, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, learning management systems (LMS), and data analysis tools.
- Experience working in cross-cultural or international settings is a plus.
- Passion for medical education, mentorship, and professional development in healthcare.
