Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics.
- Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for executive and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to define KPIs and data requirements.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices across all data solutions.
- Automate data workflows using Python, SQL, or Azure Data Factory to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integrity issues, ensuring high-quality, accurate reporting.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and BI tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics, with a focus on Power BI.
- Expertise in SQL, DAX, and Power Query for complex data modeling and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake (or similar cloud platforms).
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or R for data processing and automation.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architectures (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Certifications in Microsoft Power BI or Azure Data Engineering are a plus.
