Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for our Data Lakehouse.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Lead the adoption of modern data engineering tools and technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with Data Lakehouse architectures (e.g., Delta Lake, Databricks).
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, or Airflow.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications in cloud or data engineering are a plus.
