Responsibility
- Lead the financial onboarding process for new clients, ensuring accurate and timely setup of accounting systems
- Review and verify financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding workflows and improve efficiency
- Provide expert guidance on bookkeeping best practices and compliance requirements
- Conduct financial health assessments for new clients and identify potential risks
- Train and mentor junior team members on onboarding procedures and accounting standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation and process manuals
- Monitor and report on onboarding KPIs to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proven experience in client onboarding or financial integration processes
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Certification (CPA, CMA, or similar) is a plus
