Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for insurance domain applications using industry-leading tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
- Execute and analyze automated test cases to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in software applications.
- Develop and implement test strategies for functional, regression, performance, and security testing of insurance-related software.
- Monitor and report test results, including defect tracking and resolution, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Continuously improve testing processes by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and best practices in QA.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing, insurance technology, and software development methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on the insurance domain.
- Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with insurance industry processes, such as policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting, is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
