Responsibility
- Provide strategic accounting and financial advisory services to Australian clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decision-making and performance optimization.
- Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing expert guidance on financial matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in Australian tax laws and financial regulations, ensuring client compliance.
- Lead and mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Australian business services.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and priorities effectively.
