Responsibility
- Oversee daily palm oil mill operations, ensuring adherence to production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products, coordinating logistics and storage solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and train mill staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare detailed reports on production metrics, costs, and performance for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in palm oil mill operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of palm oil processing techniques, machinery, and quality control standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and sustainable practices in the palm oil industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional local dialects are advantageous.
