Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance software applications for semiconductor products, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and product teams to define technical requirements and architecture for semiconductor solutions.
- Oversee the full SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), from planning and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to streamline development processes and enhance team productivity.
- Drive research and adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, or embedded systems) to enhance semiconductor product capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEEE) and best practices in semiconductor software development.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role for semiconductor or embedded systems.
- Proven expertise in C/C++, Python, or Java, and familiarity with semiconductor-specific tools (e.g., Verilog, VHDL).
- Strong understanding of RTOS, firmware development, and hardware-software integration for semiconductor applications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in semiconductor systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
