Responsibility
- Develop and implement sustainable crop management strategies for diverse agricultural operations across Bali
- Conduct regular soil analysis and recommend appropriate fertilization and irrigation programs
- Lead pest and disease management initiatives using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques
- Collaborate with local farmers to improve agricultural practices and increase crop yields
- Design and oversee field trials for new crop varieties and agricultural technologies
- Monitor and analyze crop performance data to optimize production efficiency
- Provide technical training and support to agricultural extension workers and farming communities
- Ensure compliance with local and international agricultural standards and regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports on agronomic activities and project outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in agronomy or crop production
- Proven track record in sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly farming practices
- Strong knowledge of tropical agriculture and experience with diverse crop systems
- Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in field conditions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across Bali
- Certification in organic farming or sustainable agriculture is a plus
