As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring absolute accuracy in reporting, compliance, and auditing preparation. Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the complete spectrum of full-set accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare and update comprehensive audit schedules, liaising directly with external auditors to ensure seamless year-end audits.
- Handle the preparation and timely submission of quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in compliance with IRAS regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist in drafting monthly management reports, variance analyses, and financial statements for management review.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline accounting workflows and ensure strict compliance with internal controls and local accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline (or professional qualifications such as ACCA/CPA).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts, preferably within a fast-paced environment in Singapore.
- Well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), corporate tax laws, and GST filing requirements.
- Proficiency in modern cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
