Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including local and international reporting requirements.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing accurate documentation and timely responses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax laws are a bonus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
