Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and company policies.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial insights to optimize cost efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., PPN, PPh) and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations (e.g., PPN, PPh).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus.
