Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and international best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements, and coordinate with external tax advisors as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial activities.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations, with experience in compliance and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Experience working in a tech-driven or startup environment is a plus, with familiarity in financial systems integration and automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage.
