Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Manage tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor cash flow and provide insights to optimize financial performance.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with the CFO to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Support audits and financial reviews as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
