Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical, for easy retrieval and reference.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial data clearly.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
