Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Install new HVAC units, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components, in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Diagnose complex technical issues using advanced tools and diagnostic equipment, providing accurate and timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct system performance tests, analyze results, and recommend improvements to enhance cooling efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to plan and execute large-scale HVAC installations and upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including work orders, system diagnostics, and customer feedback, using digital tracking tools.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HVAC regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Specialist, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems.
- Professional certification in HVAC or refrigeration (e.g., EPA 608, RAC, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split units, central AC, chillers, and VRF systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as manifold gauges, multimeters, leak detectors, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels, with the ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
