Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for secondary students (Grades 7-12) following the school's curriculum framework
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and appreciation of Mathematics
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students with varying mathematical abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular Mathematics programs
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to communicate student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance
- Contribute to the school's continuous improvement through professional development and curriculum review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification/license from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of secondary Mathematics teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of secondary Mathematics curriculum (IGCSE, IB, or equivalent)
- Experience with international schools or diverse student populations is advantageous
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools
