Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end order processing for biospecimen requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to global clients (researchers, CROs, and pharmaceutical companies).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing technical guidance on sample specifications, regulatory compliance, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Logistics, Quality Assurance, and R&D) to resolve order discrepancies and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Generate sales reports, track KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment rates, client satisfaction), and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell biospecimen products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging research needs to inform sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with international biosafety regulations (e.g., IATA, WHO, HIPAA) and company SOPs for sample handling and documentation.
- Participate in virtual client meetings, trade shows, and webinars to represent the company and expand our global network.
- Contribute to process improvements, such as automating order workflows or enhancing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry) or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CRA, PMP) a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, customer support, or supply chain management within the life sciences, healthcare, or biotech industries.
- Familiarity with biospecimens (e.g., FFPE tissues, cell lines, plasma) and their applications in research; prior lab experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret client requirements, troubleshoot order issues, and generate actionable insights from sales data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus for global client interactions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, biosafety protocols) and ethical sourcing practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
