As a Safety Officer, you will implement, monitor, and enforce K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja) standards, conduct risk assessments, and foster a culture of safety awareness. With a competitive salary range of IDR 4.5M – 5.5M/month, this contract role offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing industry.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain K3 (Occupational Health & Safety) policies in compliance with Indonesian regulations and company standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or non-compliant practices, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors, including toolbox talks and emergency drills.
- Investigate near-misses, accidents, and incidents, document findings, and propose preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Ensure all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is available, properly used, and maintained across project sites.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems (e.g., hot work, confined space) and verify adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety plans into project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and submit monthly safety reports to management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in safety roles, preferably in construction or contracting (fresh graduates with relevant education are welcome).
- Certified K3 Expert (Ahli K3) or equivalent OHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian OHS regulations (e.g., Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and influence teams on safety best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and identify potential safety risks in construction plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software (e.g., incident reporting tools).
- Fluent in Indonesian and English (written and verbal) for cross-team collaboration.
- Willingness to work on-site in Badung, Bali with flexibility for occasional travel to project locations.
