Responsibility
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Replace and replenish amenities, linens, and towels as per hotel protocols.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to strict time management to ensure all assigned rooms are serviced efficiently.
- Follow eco-friendly housekeeping practices, including proper waste disposal and chemical usage.
- Respond to guest requests for additional services (e.g., extra pillows, toiletries) in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain carts, storage areas, and housekeeping equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address guest concerns or special requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS) is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
