Responsibility
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and execute dynamic, curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess Student Progress: Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Maintain Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Collaborate with Teaching Teams: Work closely with permanent staff to ensure continuity in lesson delivery and student support during relief periods.
- Adapt to School Policies: Follow school-specific guidelines, routines, and procedures to maintain consistency in student experiences.
- Provide Substitute Coverage: Step into classrooms with short notice, ensuring minimal disruption to student learning during teacher absences.
- Engage with Parents and Staff: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administrators to provide updates on student progress when required.
- Promote a Growth Mindset: Encourage students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning through interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Teaching Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area, along with a valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent).
- Classroom Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural school setting.
- Subject Expertise: Specialization in one or more core subjects (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, or Languages).
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust to different school environments, curricula, and student needs with professionalism and confidence.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English proficiency, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using educational technology, digital learning platforms, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
- Work Rights in Indonesia: Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (preferred but not mandatory for short-term roles).
