Responsibility
- Monitor and interpret EU REACH regulations and other relevant compliance frameworks to ensure organizational adherence.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Supply Chain, R&D) to align processes with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, registrations, and notifications to authorities as required.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance best practices and regulatory updates.
- Stay abreast of emerging regulations and industry trends to proactively address compliance risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CIPP, CCEP) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or chemical industries.
- In-depth knowledge of EU REACH, CLP, and other international chemical regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
- Experience with compliance software, databases, and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk management and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, remote-friendly environment.
