Responsibility
- Operate and maintain X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure clarity and accuracy for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Follow strict radiation safety standards and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure seamless diagnostic workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license or certification (local or international equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or diagnostic imaging setting.
- Proficiency in operating digital imaging systems, PACS, and RIS.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards in healthcare.
