Responsibility
- Develop and refine pet care product formulations, including shampoos, conditioners, balms, and cleansers, ensuring safety, efficacy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct laboratory testing and stability studies to validate product performance, shelf life, and quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to align product development with brand goals and consumer needs.
- Research and incorporate natural, sustainable, and innovative ingredients to enhance product offerings.
- Document and maintain detailed records of formulations, test results, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in pet care.
- Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams regarding product specifications and usage.
- Ensure all products meet local and international regulatory requirements for pet care products.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, formulation, or R&D, preferably in pet care, cosmetics, or personal care.
- Strong knowledge of ingredient interactions, formulation stability, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EU, or local standards) for pet or personal care products.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Passion for animal welfare and sustainable product development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
