Responsibility
- Perform detailed quality inspections on electronic components to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Conduct heated chemical tests and decapsulation processes (including fuming nitric acid) to analyze internal structures and identify defects.
- Document and report inspection results, deviations, and non-conformities using standardized quality control systems.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment and tools, ensuring calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Follow strict safety and environmental guidelines when handling hazardous chemicals and materials.
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or testing of electronic components.
- Hands-on experience with chemical testing, decapsulation, or similar laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, IPC, etc.) and inspection techniques.
- Proficient in using microscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals (e.g., nitric acid).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
